Carpooling and vanpooling offer additional solutions for the Downtown Denver commuter. In addition to saving money on fuel, there are also High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes on the interstates which can be utilized by carpoolers and vanpoolers alike. The Denver Regional Council of Governments offers a free carpool matching service that provides employees a list of nearby commuters with similar commuter schedules.
