Downtown Denver Welcomes the 2008 Democratic National Convention!

The Downtown Denver Partnership is excited that Denver has been chosen to host the 2008 Democratic National Convention (DNC). With this great responsibility comes a great opportunity to highlight our wonderful, modern, and eclectic. The Downtown Denver Partnership strives to bring the local community together to celebrate the presence and symbolism of this historic event before, during and after the actual convention.

 

General Information

Convention dates: August 25-28

Number of attendees: 50,000 guests including delegates, politicians and an influx of media and political enthusiasts from around the nation

Location: The convention will be held at the Pepsi Center.
