Downtown Denver Leadership Program

Downtown Denver Leadership Program Class

For more than 50 years, the Downtown Denver Partnership has assembled the brightest leaders within our community to address Downtown’s challenges and identify ways to enhance its appeal to workers, visitors and residents.  The Partnership continues to seek out individuals who demonstrate a passion for Downtown Denver and a sense of civic responsibility. Program participants have been recognized for outstanding leadership qualities and community and civic involvement.  They are the future leaders of Downtown Denver.

In its seventh year, the Downtown Denver Leadership Program provides an intense immersion in urban issues, policies and practices through an annual project that challenges the participants’ ability to research, analyze and collaborate. Throughout the work on the project, participants are also challenged to set goals and enhance their skills as leaders.

The 2010 program project will be done in cooperation with the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs. The class will investigate what the growth of the creative class means to Downtown Denver and how creative industries can contribute to the economic and social success of Downtown.
